It's nice to eat outdoors once in a while.
Let's use a cute looking gas cassette stove for easy cooking.

We used...

Recipes for Outdoor Dining

Baked chicken and mushrooms in foil

Ingredients

・100 g mushrooms (shimeji mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, maitake mushrooms, etc.)
・80 g chicken thighs
・2 tbsps. MIJD SHOYU or SESAME
・Thyme, as needed
・Dressing, as needed (for finishing)
・About 30 cm x 40 cm sheet of aluminum foil

Instructions

① Cut mushrooms into bite-size pieces and take apart.

② Place ❶ on the aluminum foil and top with bite-sized chicken pieces. Drizzle with dressing and place thyme on top. Transfer the aluminum foil with the ingredients on it to a skillet. Cover the ingredients with another sheet of aluminum foil and wrap in a round shape to fit the shape of the skillet.

③ Put ❷ on a Hibarin (a portable stove) and turn it on. Heat over a high flame at the beginning, and then cook over a medium or low flame for 7 to 8 minutes.

④ Cut the aluminum foil in the shape of a cross and drizzle with dressing to taste.

Al ajillo cooked in the can

Ingredients

・1 can of mackerel in brine (160 g)
・1 can of scallops in brine (30 g)
・1 can of mushrooms in brine (75 g)
・Dressing
2 tbsps. dressing for each of mackerel and mushrooms
1 tbsp. dressing for scallops
・Olive oil
20 cc olive oil for each of mackerel and mushrooms
10 cc olive oil for scallops
・Thyme, as needed
・Green onion, as needed
・Baguette slices, as needed

Instructions

① Open all cans and drain them. Pour dressing into the cans and add olive oil.

② Top with thyme. Place the cans on a gridiron and turn on the stove.
Heat over a high flame at the beginning. Once the ingredients start to boil, simmer over a low flame for 4 to 5 minutes.

Garnish with chopped green onions to taste.
